Description: Meet Zeus a 1 1/2 year old male German Shepherd. Zeus is friendly and outgoing with people. He is good with other dogs as long as they are well-behaved and well-balanced. He needs to continue working on his ‘dog etiquette’ because he does tend to be pushy

toward other dogs if they are submissive.

Zeus’s owner got over the novelty of having a young Shepherd, and dropped him at her vet to be euthanized.

He is being fostered by an experienced Shepherd owner. He recommends that Zeus will need

a strong handler who has previous German Shepherd experience, who will continue Zeus’s socialization and training. He can tend to challenge if he doesn’t sense strong leadership.

He was raised with a female shepherd but we are not sure how much guidance he received.

Zeus is a great dog and will make a great companion for someone who has the time to work

with him. Zeus is your typical Shepherd puppy with lots of energy so an active home would be best. We would not recommend Zeus with children under 12.
